Teasa Help Centre
Short, direct answers to what players and creators ask most about Teasa: how to play a Story, message a Character, create your own and manage your account and plan.
Getting started
- How do I play a Story on Teasa? To play a Story on Teasa, open one from the Stories tab on Home, tap Enter, choose the name the cast will call you and type what you say or do; the Characters reply in the moment and the Story follows your choices.
- How do I DM a Character on Teasa? To DM a Character on Teasa, sign in with a free account, open the DMs tab on Home and tap Message on any Character; direct messages are free and unlimited, and you can talk about their world or your everyday life.
- Can I play Teasa without an account?Yes: in a web browser you can play Teasa Stories as a guest, with no sign-up, for your first 20 turns, and when you create a free account the chat you are playing stays with you.
- How do I get the Teasa Android app and keep my chats?Get the Teasa app free from Google Play, then sign in with the same account you use on the web: your saved Stories and DMs are already in the app's Chats, ready to continue.
Stories and chats
- Can I roleplay with several characters at once on Teasa?Yes: every Story on Teasa is built around a cast, so several AI Characters can talk, act and react to you in the same scene while a narrator sets it.
- How do quests and relationship milestones work on Teasa?Quests are goals a creator writes into a Story, and relationship milestones are moments you earn with a Character; Teasa tracks both automatically as you play, so you never tick off a checklist yourself.
- What are Hojicha, Matcha and Oolong on Teasa?Hojicha, Matcha and Oolong are Teasa's three chat styles, each writing in its own voice: Hojicha is the free default for Stories, Matcha is free for now and the default for DMs, and Oolong comes with Teasa Pass.
- Can I regenerate or edit a reply on Teasa?Yes: on the latest Character reply you can regenerate it, edit it yourself or tell Teasa what to change, and Teasa keeps every version so you can go back to the one you like best.
- Do Characters on Teasa remember what I tell them?Yes: as you play, Teasa saves the lasting facts you share and the milestones you earn, and Characters recall them in DMs and in Stories played with Matcha or Oolong; you can see what each Character remembers, forget what you choose and pause new memories at any time.
Creating
- How do I create an AI Character on Teasa? To create an AI Character on Teasa, choose Create, then Character, enter a name and a one-line idea, add optional vibes and who they are to you, pick an image style and tap Create Character; Teasa writes the profile and draws a portrait in about a minute, ready to publish and chat with.
- How do I write and publish a Story in Creator Studio? To publish a Story on Teasa, choose Create, then Story, write the premise, cast and opening in Creator Studio's tabs, play-test it privately and choose Publish public version; a public Story goes live the moment you publish it.
- How do lorebooks work on Teasa? On Teasa, a lorebook is called a Blueprint: a set of up to 100 world entries that Teasa adds to a Story's next reply when their keywords come up in the conversation, or keeps in play throughout the Story if you choose.
- Can I use SillyTavern character cards with Teasa?Yes: any Character you create in Creator Studio can be exported as a SillyTavern character card in PNG or JSON, and creators can share their public Characters as cards that anyone can download from Teasa.
- How does the Teasa creator programme pay creators?Teasa's creator programme, Creator Rewards, shares a monthly pool among enrolled creators based on the turns other players complete in their public Stories and in DMs with their public Characters, paid out in Gems or by PayPal.
Account and plans
- Is Teasa free, and what does Teasa Pass add?Yes, Teasa is free to play: a free account plays Stories, DMs any Character without limits and creates Characters and Stories, and Teasa Pass, at $14.99 a month, adds the Oolong chat style, no ads, more dates and memory, and 200 Gems every month.
- What is gold on Teasa and how do I earn it?Gold is the currency you earn on Teasa by completing quests and watching short ads in the app, and you spend it to imagine a chat scene as an image or to unlock a date; it is never sold and is separate from Gems.
- What languages can I play Teasa in?Teasa runs in 6 languages (English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese), and Characters write their replies in the language you have chosen for Teasa.
- How do Character follow-ups and notifications work on Teasa? When you have been away from a Story or DM for 16 hours, a Character can send you one short follow-up in that chat, and Teasa lets you know by app notification or, if you chose it, by email; you can turn either off on My Page.
- How do I download my data or delete my Teasa account? To download your data or delete your Teasa account, open My Page and go to Privacy & data: Download my data saves a copy of your account as a JSON file, and Delete account shows what will be removed before it permanently erases your account.
- How old do I need to be to use Teasa, and how do I report content? You need to be 13 or older to use Teasa and meet your region's minimum age for digital consent; you can report a reply, a Story or a shared page from inside Teasa, or email the Teasa team.
