Can I roleplay with several characters at once on Teasa?
Yes: every Story on Teasa is built around a cast, so several AI Characters can talk, act and react to you in the same scene while a narrator sets it.
How a group scene works
- Open a Story. Its page introduces the cast: one lead and the Characters around them. A cast can hold up to 32 Characters.
- Read the opening. It introduces the Characters who are in the scene when the Story begins.
- Write your line. To speak to one Character, use their name: Teasa weighs the Characters you mention first when it writes the next reply.
- Read the reply. Everyone who has something to say speaks in the same reply, each in their own voice.
| In the reply | How it looks |
|---|---|
| Narration | Plain text that moves the scene along |
| A Character's line | A bubble with their name and portrait |
| Two Characters at once | One bubble that names both speakers |
Each Character has their own personality, speech style and relationships, with you and with the rest of the cast, so rivals bicker, friends cover for each other and the lead notices who you favour.
Change who you are in the scene
Open Persona in the chat options to choose Who are you in this story?. A new persona applies to your next turns on the current path.
Want time alone with one of them?
Any Character you meet in a Story is one tap away in DMs. Open the Story's page and tap Chat with on their card to text them one-on-one.
Your next step
Open a Story, meet its cast and talk to everyone in the scene at once.
