How do Character follow-ups and notifications work on Teasa?
When you have been away from a Story or DM for 16 hours, a Character can send you one short follow-up in that chat, and Teasa lets you know by app notification or, if you chose it, by email; you can turn either off on My Page.
How follow-ups work
- A follow-up is one short message from the Character, added to the chat you left.
- It comes after at least 16 hours away, with at least 16 hours between follow-ups.
- Teasa sends at most 3 follow-ups you haven't answered, then waits for you.
- Notifications respect night-time quiet hours in your local time.
Where you get them
| Where | How to turn it on or off |
|---|---|
| Teasa Android app | My Page, then Personalization, then Notifications |
| Web | My Page, then Privacy & data, then Notifications |
| My Page on the web, then Email me when my Characters write back |
Teasa emails a follow-up only when it can't reach you with an app notification, so you never get the same message twice. Each email has a Reply button that opens the chat.
Stop follow-up emails in one click
Every follow-up email has Unsubscribe from these emails at the bottom. It turns emails off straight away, without signing in.
Other messages from Teasa
When you sign up with email, Teasa sends a confirmation email and a welcome. They don't affect your notification choices.
