How do lorebooks work on Teasa?
On Teasa, a lorebook is called a Blueprint: a set of up to 100 world entries that Teasa adds to a Story's next reply when their keywords come up in the conversation, or keeps in play throughout the Story if you choose.
Create a Blueprint
- Choose Create, then Blueprint.
- Give it a Name and a Description.
- Add an entry: a Title, the Content (up to 2,000 characters) and how to Use this entry: When keywords appear, with up to 20 keywords, or Throughout the Story.
- Keep it Private, or make it Public so other creators can use it.
How entries reach a reply
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Entries per Blueprint | Up to 100 |
| Keywords per entry | Up to 20 |
| Messages checked for keywords | The player's message and the 4 before it |
| Entries added to one reply | Up to 8, within 4,000 characters |
| Blueprints per Story | Up to 5 |
Keywords match as you write them: as whole words in English and other spaced languages, and anywhere in the text in Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Entries set to Throughout the Story go first. Blueprint text does not count toward a Story's character budget.
Connect a Blueprint to a Story
- In the free Blueprint Lab, test your entries against sample messages and see which ones Teasa would pick, then choose Connect to draft to bring the Blueprint into a Story draft.
- In the Teasa app, open the Blueprint and tap Add to a Story.
Blueprints shape Story replies. In DMs, a Character speaks from their own profile.
Coming from SillyTavern?
A Blueprint works like SillyTavern's World Info or a NovelAI lorebook. Blueprint Lab's Import JSON reads SillyTavern-style lorebooks, including the character book inside a JSON card.
