How do I write and publish a Story in Creator Studio?
To publish a Story on Teasa, choose Create, then Story, write the premise, cast and opening in Creator Studio's tabs, play-test it privately and choose Publish public version; a public Story goes live the moment you publish it.
- Start from scratch, from a Story template, or with Start with your idea, which drafts a Story from your idea.
- Story: a title, a short public premise, the world and scenario, private story direction, world rules and up to 20 quests.
- Cast: add at least one Character, either one of your own Characters or one created for this Story. One Character is the lead.
- Opening: the first scene players read, in blocks for the narrator, the player and the cast.
- Experience: pace, response length, suggested replies and narration settings such as point of view and tense.
- Test & publish: tap Play-test draft for a private test, then Publish public version or Publish private version.
Before you publish
The panel shows Ready to test or the items left to finish. Every Story needs a title, a premise and an opening, and each cast member needs a name, a public description and a private profile. The Story and its Characters share 40,000 characters. Creator Studio saves your draft as you type.
After you publish
- A public Story appears in discovery, and anyone can play it. A private Story is only for you.
- In Translations, choose Finalise translations for free to offer your Story in Teasa's other languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Retranslating changed text later costs 10 Gems.
- Edit and publish again whenever you like. Players already in the Story keep their chats.
Make it richer
Add quests with a gold reward, up to 50 gold per Story, give your Characters relationship milestones in the Advanced Character editor, and connect a Blueprint to keep your world's lore consistent.
