What is Botify AI?

Botify AI is a platform for chatting with AI characters and creating your own. Its website calls it "a whole universe of AI characters," where you can chat with anime characters, celebrities, heroes from books and movies and historical figures. Its Google Play listing adds a character maker for personality, interests, voice, mood, appearance and backstory, voice messages and calls with characters, bots that send images, and group chats with several AI characters at once, and it says each bot remembers your past messages.

Botify AI is made by Ex-Human, Inc., whose name appears on the site and in its terms of service. Botify AI has no connection to Botify at botify.com, a search marketing platform for businesses.

How to use Botify AI online or on a PC

Botify AI runs in the browser, so on a Windows PC, Mac or Chromebook you use botify.ai.

1. Open botify.ai in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
2. Browse the characters on the front page, or search for one.
3. Open a character and write your first message.
4. Choose Log In / Sign Up to sign in with Google or with your email address.

From the same site you can create your own character, start a group chat and generate images and videos. On a phone, botify.ai runs in Safari or Chrome, and on Android the site points you to its Google Play app.

1. Open botify.ai and choose Log In / Sign Up.
2. Choose Continue with Google, or enter your email address and a password. The same window signs you up if you're new.
3. Use the same method each time so you land in the same account. Forgot your password? The window's reset option emails you a link.

The website has no Sign in with Apple. If you made your account with Apple on an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, choose Sign in with Apple, then Botify AI, and copy the email address it shows; then reset your password on botify.ai with that address. If it's a Hide My Email address ending in @privaterelay.apple.com, email support@botify.ai with your new email address and the old relay address, as Botify's recovery steps ask.

Is there a Botify AI app?

On Android, yes. On iPhone, no longer.

The iPhone app is gone from the App Store. In April 2026, Ex-Human sued Apple, saying Apple had removed Botify AI and its sister app Photify AI for what Apple called "dishonest or fraudulent activity" without giving specific examples, and that Apple was withholding about $500,000 of the apps' revenue. On 26 October 2026, Botify AI's App Store page returned "not found," and an App Store search for "botify" showed no app from Ex-Human. On an iPhone, open botify.ai in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and Botify opens from your Home Screen like an app.

Is Botify AI free? Plans and prices

Yes. Botify's website promises free chat with AI bots, and in replies to Google Play reviews in August 2026, Ex-Human said its Standard chat model remains free, while Smart and Genius are newer optional models with longer memory and deeper storytelling. The Android app shows ads.

Paid plans, as Botify's in-app offer lists them, add unlimited messages, an advanced roleplay model, no ads and a monthly allowance of energy, Botify's in-app currency for generating photos and videos. Plans renew weekly, monthly or yearly depending on the one you pick, and energy also sells in packs. Botify shows plan prices inside the app, and Google Play lists its in-app items at $1.99 to $159.99 in the US.

Botify's terms say a subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, in your account settings or, for an in-app purchase, through the app store. Fees already paid aren't refunded except where the law requires, and app store purchases follow that store's refund policy.

Botify AI age rules

Botify AI is for adults. Its terms of service say: "You represent that you are over the age of 18. The Company does not permit those under 18 to use the Service." The same terms bar users from posting sexually explicit content and any content that sexualizes or exploits minors. Google Play rates the Android app Mature 17+ for suggestive themes and strong language.

Teasa is rated 13+. Its Stories are written in the register of the romance and fantasy novels on a library shelf, every Story in the catalog is reviewed before it's published, and there is no unfiltered mode to switch on.
