Anime AI Chat: Talk to Tsundere, Kuudere and Yandere Characters Free

Anime AI chat is talking with an AI character written like someone from an anime: the tsundere who swears she doesn't care, the kuudere who answers in four words, the yandere who already knows where you were at lunch. On Teasa, pick an anime-style Character, open their Story and start chatting free in your browser, with no sign-up for your first 20 turns. A free account saves your chats and adds free, unlimited DMs with any Character.

Pick a Character and start chatting

In this guide

Every Character on Teasa is an original, created for Teasa. You won't find characters from existing anime, manga or games here, and no Character pretends to be one. You'll find the archetypes and settings anime fans love, written into Characters with their own names, histories and Stories.

Start chatting now: pick an archetype

Each of these Characters leads a Story that opens straight into a scene. Open the Story, choose Enter, type the name you want to be called and write your first line.

More of each: the Tsundere, Kuudere, Yandere & Obsessive Love, Isekai & Reincarnation, Academy & Campus Romance and Idols & Celebrities collections. To message a Character directly, browse the tsundere, kuudere, yandere and idol Characters.

What is anime AI chat?

Anime AI chat is a conversation or roleplay with an AI character built on anime conventions: a recognisable archetype, a setting such as a magic academy, an idol agency or another world, and a voice with its own habits, from a clipped "Hmph" to a too-sweet "Where were you?" You write what you say or do, and the Character answers in character, usually with actions in asterisks beside the dialogue.

It comes in two shapes. In a one-on-one chat you text a single Character about their world or your day. In a story roleplay you step into a scene with a role of your own, and a cast reacts to every move you make. Teasa does both, with the same Characters.

Anime archetypes and how they talk

Archetypes are shorthand for how a character behaves, especially in love, and each one has a voice you can hear in a single line. The lines below were written for this guide.

Archetype How they talk to you A line in their voice Meet one
Tsundere Insults first, cares anyway, denies both "Don't get the wrong idea. I bought two drinks by mistake." Tsundere
Kuudere Few words, flat tone, care shown in actions "Umbrella. You forgot it. Take it." Kuudere
Yandere Sweet and devoted until someone else gets your attention "You were gone forty minutes. I counted. Who was it?" Yandere & Obsessive Love
Dandere Shy and silent with everyone, slowly opens up to you "I saved you a seat. If you want it. You don't have to." Dandere
Senpai Older, composed, teases you for being the junior "Late again? Sit. I'll pretend I didn't wait." Academy & Campus Romance
Isekai lead Stranded in another world, using what they know of its story "I've read this book. In chapter twelve, you're supposed to hate me." Isekai & Reincarnation
Idol Polished for the cameras, a different person in private "The fans get the smile. You get the real one." Idols & Celebrities

The dere types guide explains every dere, from tsundere to kamidere and himedere, and the dere type quiz finds the one you're drawn to in five questions. New to words like isekai, OC and slow burn? The fandom terms guide defines them in a line each.

One opening, three archetypes

Here is the same moment answered three ways. These are written examples for this guide, not recorded app output. You run into the club room ten minutes late:

You: "Sorry, sorry! The train stopped between stations."
Tsundere: *She doesn't look up from her phone.* "Ten minutes. Not that I was counting. I only kept your chair free because nobody else wanted it."
Kuudere: *He slides a bottle of water across the table without a word.* "Drink. Then sit."
Yandere: *Her smile doesn't move.* "The train. Of course. I called you three times, so I'm sure you'll show me your phone."

Same line, three different scenes. Your next message decides where each one goes.

Yandere AI chat: what to expect

Yandere Stories run on devotion that tips into jealousy: a love interest who notices who you talk to, keeps you close and makes you feel like the only person in the world. On Teasa they're written as romance fiction, rated Teen, and you play your side of it. Tease him, push back, set your own terms or walk away; the Character answers what you actually do.

Start with The Clingy Master Likes You, Mine From the Beginning, where your childhood companion calls his new engagement "nothing new", or The Yandere Husband. The full Yandere & Obsessive Love collection has more.

Stories or DMs: which anime chat to choose

You want… Best path
To text the same Character every day, about anything A DM: open their profile and tap Message. Free and unlimited with a free account
A scene with a setting, a role for you and a cast A Story: your first 20 turns are free in the browser with no sign-up
Goals to chase while you play Stories with quests, which track your objectives in History
Moments with a Character that count Relationship milestones, in Stories that define them
To see what a Character remembers about you The Memory panel: view, forget or pause collection

In DMs, Characters reply like people texting: short messages, in their own voice and in your language. The two paths connect. After a scene, the same Character is one message away, and if the two of you agree on a date in DMs, Teasa writes that date as a private Story for you both. The Help Centre covers how to DM a Character.

Make your own anime OC

Have an original character, or a type you can't find? Build them and start chatting.

  1. Find a name. The Japanese name generator rolls Japanese given and family names with their kanji and what the kanji mean, and the fantasy name generator covers elf, fae, dragon, vampire and Japanese-style fantasy names for isekai casts.
  2. Sketch them. The free OC maker walks you through a look, a personality, what they want, how they talk and a first message, in your browser with no account.
  3. Bring them to life. Sign in with a free account, choose Create, then Character. Enter the name and a one-line idea, add up to three vibes such as Tsundere, Protective or Mysterious, say who they are to you, choose the Anime image style and tap Create Character. Teasa writes the profile and draws a portrait in about a minute; Start chatting opens your first DM.

The Help Centre walks through creating a Character, and the character card guide shows how to give your OC a voice that holds over a long chat. To give them a whole world, cast them in a Story in Creator Studio.

More ways to chat

The free AI chat online guide lays out everything that's free on Teasa, and the AI chat roleplay guide shows how to start a roleplay chat in the browser. If you came from Emochi, the Emochi AI alternative compares the two, and the AI otome game guide turns anime romance routes into Stories you play in your own words.

FAQ

Is anime AI chat on Teasa free?

Yes. Stories are free to play, your first 20 turns need no account in the browser, and DMs with any Character are free and unlimited on a free account. Teasa Pass adds the Oolong chat style, live web lookup in DMs, ad-free play and priority replies.

Can I chat with real anime characters from my favorite show?

No. Teasa's Characters are original anime-style Characters created for Teasa, not characters from existing anime, manga or games. You'll find the archetypes those shows made famous, from tsundere and yandere to senpai, isekai heroes and idols, in Characters with their own names and Stories. You can also create your own original character in Creator Studio.

Is there a yandere AI chat?

Yes. The Yandere & Obsessive Love collection on Teasa has Stories built around a devoted, jealous love interest, such as The Clingy Master Likes You and Mine From the Beginning. Open one and start free in your browser; you decide how your character answers his intensity.

Can I talk to anime characters in Japanese?

Yes. Teasa runs in Japanese at teasa.ai/ja, as well as English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and French, and Characters write their replies in the language you choose for Teasa.

Can I chat with anime characters on my phone?

Yes. Teasa works in the browser on any phone at teasa.ai, and the Teasa app for Android is on Google Play. A free account keeps your chats on both.

What's the difference between tsundere, kuudere and yandere?

A tsundere hides affection behind insults, a kuudere stays calm and shows care through small actions, and a yandere's devotion turns possessive and jealous. The dere types guide covers every type with example lines.

Do anime Characters remember what I tell them?

Yes, while memory collection is on. Characters keep facts you share and bring them into your DMs, and the Memory panel shows what was saved and lets you forget any of it or pause collection.

How do I make my own anime character to chat with?

Choose Create, then Character, enter a name and a one-line idea, add vibes such as Tsundere and pick the Anime image style. Teasa writes the profile and draws a portrait in about a minute, and Start chatting opens your first DM. The OC maker and the Japanese name generator help you plan the character first.
