Each of these Characters leads a Story that opens mid-scene, the kind of premise PolyBuzz's front page is full of: a CEO who won't let go, a mafia marriage, a famous boyfriend and a hero who walked out of a book. Open the Story, choose Enter, type the name you want to be called and write your first line.
- Darren Dunne in Dating, Then the Rest: at 5 a.m. you bring your boss his breakfast and his schedule, and he pulls you down and refuses to let you leave.
- So Daheun in An Arranged Marriage to the Russian Boss: seven years into a marriage of convenience, the mafia boss walks in smelling of blood and someone else's perfume.
- Felix Whitlock in He Wrote You a Song: you and the singer have been the internet's favorite couple for a year, and tonight's dinner hides a plan.
- Dom Reese in The Man From the Novel: the cocky hero you rewrote more than any other is standing in the rain, and he already knows your name.
What is PolyBuzz?
PolyBuzz is an AI character chat service. Its FAQ describes "Free, Private, and Unrestricted AI character chats with over 20 million characters," where you can create your own AI characters and dive into roleplay, and often calls it simply "Poly." Its Android app is published by Cloud Whale Interactive Technology LLC of Wilmington, Delaware, while the website's terms say polybuzz.ai is operated by Singularity Mutual Entertainment Culture Media Limited in Hong Kong. On the website, the menu covers Discover, Generate Image, Create Character, Messages and the membership plans, and the front page leads with "Short dramas. Real stories & anime worlds.": character cards for CEO, mafia, K-pop, anime and fandom chats.
The app is PolyBuzz: Chat with AI Friends on Google Play, with more than 50 million downloads and a 4.0-star rating from about 1.19 million reviews. Its iPhone app, PolyBuzz: Chat with Characters, left the App Store in mid-October 2026: its listing was live on 13 October and on 21 October returned no app in any storefront checked, and PolyBuzz has not said why. Apps named PolyBuzz or PollyBuzz that App Store search shows now come from other developers, so on an iPhone or iPad the route is the website.
How to use PolyBuzz online on a PC
PolyBuzz's FAQ answers the PC question directly: "You cannot download the PolyBuzz client on PC. However, you can access the web version of Poly using your browser, or you can download the app on mobile devices." So the way to use PolyBuzz on a computer is the official website:
- Open polybuzz.ai in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox on your PC, Mac or Chromebook.
- Browse Discover or search for a character, then open their chat page. The character's intro and opening scene load in the browser.
- Type your first message. As a guest the page lists what logging in adds, including multiple chat rounds, an advanced chat model and free image generation, and the Log in/ Sign up window asks you to log in "to chat with over 20M characters for Free."
- Pick a login method and the chat carries on in the same window.
The website also carries PolyBuzz's image generator and character creator, which on the web imports character cards and JSON files from platforms such as Character.AI and TavernAI, so you don't lose those tools on a computer.
PolyBuzz login
To log in to PolyBuzz in a browser on your computer or phone:
- Open polybuzz.ai and choose Log In at the top right. The same Log in/ Sign up window opens the first time you message a character.
- Pick Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, or type your email address. Logging in and signing up happen in the same window.
- Choose the method you use in the PolyBuzz app so the website signs you in to the same account.
If PolyBuzz won't let you in, check your connection first. PolyBuzz's FAQ says to look for announcements on its official Discord server when you suspect downtime, to check whether other users have the same problem and to try the website when the app is down; the Discord invite linked from its FAQ had expired on 21 October 2026. Staff answer in-app feedback and email at support@mail.polybuzz.ai.
Can't get in right now? Teasa needs no login for your first 20 turns: start an AI chat roleplay in your browser and come back to PolyBuzz later.
Is there a PolyBuzz download for PC?
No. PolyBuzz's download is its Android app on Google Play; on a computer, and on an iPhone now that its App Store listing no longer appears, polybuzz.ai is the official route. Android emulators can run the Google Play version on Windows or Mac, which means installing an emulator first and the app inside it; PolyBuzz itself points PC users to the website.
Is PolyBuzz free? Plans and prices
PolyBuzz is free to use, and its FAQ says you can opt for a membership "to unlock a more enhanced experience": memberships add stronger memory chat models, unlimited character voice listening and an ad-free experience, and Premium adds more chat models. On 21 October 2026 PolyBuzz's membership page showed US visitors two plans, each with a discounted first period; visitors in Europe also see a Basic plan, Poly Standard:
| PolyBuzz plan | US price on polybuzz.ai, 21 October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Poly Premium | $19.90 a month, or $199 a year |
| Poly Ultimate | $19.90 a week, or $299 a year |
Coins pay for longer voice chats, regenerated replies, inspiration replies and memory scenes, and Google Play lists in-app purchases from $0.05 to $599 per item. The free tier shows ads: Google Play lists PolyBuzz as containing ads, and every membership removes them.
PolyBuzz age rating
Google Play rates PolyBuzz Mature 17+, and its former App Store listing rated it 18+. Its terms go further: "You must have reached 18-year-old to use PolyBuzz," minors are prohibited worldwide, and UK users must pass an age check with Ondato or Yoti before using it. Its FAQ still describes a Teen Mode "specifically for children."
Teasa is built for ages 13 and up. Its Stories are written in the register of the romance and fantasy novels on a library shelf, every Story in the catalog is reviewed before it's published, and there is no unfiltered mode to switch on.

Teasa: play in your browser before you sign up
Teasa opens on a PC, Mac, Chromebook or phone at teasa.ai, and the first scene starts without an account. Pick a Story, read where it opens and write what you say or do; the cast answers what you actually wrote. Your first 20 turns need no sign-in. When Teasa asks, a free account with Google or email picks the Story up from the same moment, on every device you sign in to.
Where PolyBuzz hands you a character and an empty chat, a Teasa Story hands you a situation. The opening already has a problem in it, you have a role, and the people around you want things. Creators can add quests, which show your current objective in History, and relationship milestones, which record the moments you earn with a Character. You can regenerate a reply, branch the conversation and come back to it later.
Outside the Story, any Character is a direct message away: free and unlimited on a free account, with no level to unlock first. The Memory panel lists what's been saved about you and lets you forget any of it. Teasa has three chat styles: Hojicha by default, Matcha as a free premium preview, and Oolong with Teasa Pass, which also adds live web lookup in DMs, ad-free play and 200 Gems a month. Teasa's pricing shows the price in your region.
