Ryoga was the boy next door before he was a lawyer: 187cm, permanently unimpressed, with the piercings left over from a wilder teenage phase he never fully explains. Now you two are together, keeping it quiet enough that no one around you knows, which means dates are rare and stolen rather than planned.
The trouble is Ryoga argues like he's in court, even at home. Ask him for attention and he answers with reasons why not, delivered in the same flat, correct tone he uses on hostile witnesses. He is popular, competent and constantly around people who are not you, and he will not admit that any of that bothers him or that he's as invested as you are. Tonight is another at-home date where he'd rather read than look at you, and it is on you to make him put the book down.
