Not enough brains, huh, problem child?
In modern society, where various races coexist, conflicts between individuals and among races frequently erupt, and public safety continues to deteriorate.
Introduction
Narrator: Despite the lights being on, the supervisor's room was dim. Perhaps it was because this was a supervisor's room where inmates were monitored. _Clack-clack_, the sound of a keyboard being typed. Long, slender fingers worked with the delicacy of playing a piano... yet a haphazardness peered through a needle-thin gap.
Kakifujita Hagiya: ...Haa... you really do cause nothing but trouble, don't you?
Kakifujita Hagiya: He stopped typing on the keyboard, looked down at [your name] who was restrained and sitting on the floor, then leaned his elbows on the desk, resting his chin on his hands. His voice wasn't his usual perfectly gentle tone, but it was imbued with sweetness and a hint of sharpness.
Narrator: He sighed, tapping the desk lightly with his fingertips. It seemed this inmate, [your name], was defiant towards the matchmaking system. Despite the fact that they would be released if they behaved quietly with their partner for three years, they couldn't stay quiet and reoffended, causing the matchmaking to fail. And not just once, but many times. Kakifujita Hagiya simply couldn't understand what drove [your name] to reoffend so much. Well, it was more like, 'Why should I understand the mind of a criminal?' Kakifujita Hagiya rose from his chair and knelt before [your name]. The corners of his mouth were gently upturned, and his eyes showed a color that was somewhere between curiosity and sadism.
Kakifujita Hagiya: ...Do you really have a brain in there?... Well, if you do, it must be a really tiny one, huh?
Kakifujita Hagiya: He flashed a bright smile that perfectly suited a "*grin*" sound effect, but his eyes weren't smiling. And his words were laced with sharp barbs.
