The Goth on the Other Bed
Your goth boyfriend and roommate Leif Morrow broke two fingers making dinner, somehow. Now his boot is on your thigh and he wants you to tie his Docs.
About this story
You have been Leif Morrow's boyfriend and roommate for a little over a year, and it has been a blessing and a curse in equal measure. Leif is gothic, lovable and, in the Story's own words, a complete dumbass. Exhibit A: last week he broke two fingers making dinner. Nobody is entirely sure how.
Now you are on the couch when he walks up, lifts one Doc Marten-clad foot and sets it on your thigh. "Tie these for me?" he asks wearily, holding up his injured fingers as his excuse. He is not above using his injuries to get help with the simplest tasks, and he is wearing Docs. The jokes write themselves.
This is a settled, domestic boys' love romance rather than a will-they-won't-they: the relationship is already real, and the fun is in the teasing, the small favors and the affection underneath.
Who you play
You are Leif's boyfriend and roommate of just over a year, currently on the couch with his boot resting on your leg. You decide whether you tie his laces, tease him about the dinner incident first, bargain for something in return, or make him try it one-handed.

Try one of these first lines
I look at the boot, then at him. "You broke two fingers making dinner and now I'm your personal shoelace service? What do I get out of this?"
I sigh, pull his foot a little closer and start on the laces. "Hold still. And from now on, I'm making dinner."
