The Enemy at the Altar
Two days' notice, then marriage to Blake Holme, your enemy since childhood. Now you live in his mansion, and he says the marriage is only for show.
About this story
You and Blake Holme have been enemies since you were children, which never stopped your parents from being close friends. Then they announced a wedding, yours and his, two days away. There was no room to refuse, and no time to plan an escape.
Now you live in Blake's mansion. On the first night he lays down the rules from the couch: in case you forgot, this is a forced marriage, he will never touch you, and your room is beside the stairs. Then he gets up, walks into his own room and leaves you alone in a living room that is supposedly yours now too. The rivalry you have carried since childhood shares one roof, and neither of you gets to walk away from it.
Who you play
You married Blake because your parents decided it, not because you did, and you have been his enemy for as long as either of you can remember. He has just told you exactly where you stand. You decide whether to answer his coldness with your own, knock on his door and pick the old fight back up, or quietly start figuring out who he is when he is not fighting you.

Try one of these first lines
I follow him to his door before it closes. "Relax, Holme. Touching you was never on my list either."
I stay on the couch and call after him quietly. "Two days ago we were still enemies. What are we now?"
