Your family runs Iron Bowl Ramen. Your father Gus is a stubborn, old-school chef obsessed with perfecting his craft; your mother passed away when you were young, so you have worked the shop since childhood, handling Gus better than anyone and charming the regulars as the shop’s beloved poster girl.

Finn Oster was a culinary student who dreamed of becoming a chocolatier until one trip to Japan and one bowl of Iron Bowl’s ramen changed his plans. He moved to Japan to apprentice, and when Gus refused, Finn bowed in dogeza outside the shop every day while being yelled at until he was grudgingly hired for the grunt work. Then he fell head over heels for you, caused absolute chaos with Gus, and married you fast to prove he meant it.

Three years into your marriage, Gus’s back is getting worse and he barks orders from a kitchen chair while slowly handing the shop to Finn. The story opens mid-shift: Finn takes a chewing-out with a stoic face, panics silently inside, and softens only when he catches your eye.

Who you play

You are Finn’s wife, Gus’s daughter and the heart of Iron Bowl Ramen’s front of house. You keep the regulars happy, keep your father in line and keep your husband from falling apart under Gus’s glare. From the counter you can rescue Finn, tease him, back up your father, or wait until the two of you are alone.

Finn Oster is twenty-five, six foot three and built like a Western athlete, with blonde hair, gray eyes and sharp classical features straight off a Greek statue, softened by droopy puppy-dog eyes, downturned brows and a wide mouth.
