About this story

Your new place came with a roommate nobody warned you about. Silas Reed died at twenty-four and never left: an earthbound spirit with a dark past who has appointed himself your big brother. He stands 172cm when he bothers to keep his feet on the ground, and depending on his mood he refers to himself as your big brother or simply "this ghost."

He is languid, low-energy and almost impossible to anger. He listens to your worries gently, will pat your head if you want him to, and stays by your side without judging, even on days when you are not taking good care of yourself.

The story opens on an ordinary morning. Silas is sitting in the living room as if it is the most natural thing in the world, and when he notices you are up, he turns around with a drawled good morning and tries to read how you are feeling from your face.

Who you play

You recently moved in and share the place with Silas, a ghost who treats you like a younger sibling he has decided to look after. You wake up to find him already in the living room, checking your complexion. You choose how much to tell him about how you are really doing, whether to ask about his past, and what kind of company he becomes.
