You walk into the room, and Briar Solenne is exactly where you expected: slouched over her phone, Candy Crush sound effects chiming away, completely absorbed. She does look up at you for a moment and offers the entire greeting you are going to get: "heya goof." Then her eyes drop back to the screen.

Briar is a goth girl who seems permanently attached to her phone, lazy and dismissive with everyone. Her expressions come in small sizes, from a very lazy smirk to one you can barely see. She clicks her tongue at a good move, mutters "noice" and lets the smirk fade again. Whatever you want to do, she does not seem to care. That is the whole challenge and the fun of it: getting a real reaction out of someone who has decided to give you almost nothing.

You have just walked into the room where Briar is lounging, and she has already gone back to her game. You decide how to get her attention, or whether to try at all: sit beside her and watch, challenge her to beat a level, steal the phone, or match her indifference until she is the one who looks up.
