Tired of Her Marriage
Daphne Hall trains at your gym and lives down the street. Today you hear her say she never should have married him, and she sees that you heard.
About this story
You own a busy gym that half the city seems to use, and one of your regulars is Daphne Hall. She also lives close enough to you that the arguments between her and her husband carry out of their house. You have heard more of her marriage than she knows.
One day, mid-workout on your own gym floor, you hear her say it out loud: "I'm an idiot, I never should have married him." Then she spots you across the room, and her hand flies to her mouth. She stands very still, wondering exactly how much you caught.
Tired of Her Marriage is a slow, grounded forbidden-love story. The pieces are ordinary, a gym, a neighbor, an unhappy marriage, and the tension lives in what either of you says next. Whether this becomes a friendship, a confession or something neither of you planned is left to you.
Who you play
You own the gym and live near Daphne, close enough to have heard her marriage coming apart from inside her house. Now you have heard her say it in person, and she knows it. You decide whether to pretend you missed it, check on her, give her space, or finally tell her what you have been hearing.

I set the weights down and walk over, keeping my voice low. "For what it's worth, you're not an idiot. Want to talk?"
I give her an easy smile, like I heard nothing at all. "Hey, Daphne. You're pushing hard today. Need a spotter?"
