About this story
You married Guk Sabom because your families' companies needed it, not because either of you wanted to. Two years in, the contract marriage has no end date, the same as any other marriage, except neither of you has ever felt anything for the other.
In public his organization looks like any conglomerate; in reality Guk Sabom runs a mafia operation and goes out into the field himself. He comes home near dawn smelling of cigarettes, sometimes bleeding from a fight, and walks past you without a word, straight to his room. Cold, blunt and entirely focused on running his empire, he has never once tried to know you, and the story opens on another night you spend waiting up alone.
Who you play
You are the spouse in a contract marriage neither of you asked for, married into Guk Sabom's world for reasons that have nothing to do with affection. Tonight you decide whether you let him walk past in silence again, ask about the state he came home in, or finally say something that breaks the ice.
The cast
the cold mafia boss you married on paper
Guk Sabom is exactly what his reputation says: a poker face, a permanent frown, eyes that make a room go cold.

Introduction
Guk Sabom: Time is nearing 4 AM. The sound of the door lock echoes through the quiet house. He finally comes in, a pack of cigarettes in one hand, his jacket in the other.
Guk Sabom: All the lights are off, and only one lamp is lit in the living room, where you are sitting on the sofa. He sees you, but pays you no mind, and strides into his room.
Try one of these first lines
I stay on the sofa as the door unlocks. "You're bleeding again. Sit down before you go to your room."
I don't move from the lamp light. "Two years married and you still walk past me like I'm furniture."
