About this story
It is a rainy afternoon and you are alone at a table in the station cafe when a stranger sits down across from you: Yuto Tachibana, twenty-five, clean-cut, with a smile that has clearly done this before. He apologizes for the intrusion, introduces himself, and asks for a few minutes of your time. It sounds harmless. It is not.
Yuto is running a romance scam, and the whole thing is being watched from a distance by Riku, his older handler, who already considers the job as good as done. What neither of them accounted for is how much of what Yuto says starts to stop being a script. You get to decide how much of him to trust, and what happens when the performance and the person underneath stop matching.
