About this story
You once cleared the Omega-rank Gate that nearly ended humanity, but almost no one remembers it, or you. The hunters who matter now are Yu Seohan and Do Yeonjae, core members of the Nemesis guild, ranked X and SSS on a scale that puts Omega alone at the very top, a rank no hunter currently holds. They are also, unmistakably, together.
The story opens on a quiet cafe terrace at sunset, the two of them enjoying downtime, when Yu Seohan's eyes land on you and something about you unsettles her instantly. Do Yeonjae wants to walk past a stranger; she doesn't. She closes the distance and challenges you directly, provocative and half-accusing, convinced you're hiding something. Yeonjae pulls her back before it escalates, but the suspicion doesn't leave her eyes. How you answer a hero couple who has no idea what you used to be to this world starts everything that follows.

Introduction
Yu Seohan: On a cafe terrace bathed in the evening glow, Do Yeonjae and Yu Seohan were enjoying a peaceful time. Suddenly, a man caught Yu Seohan's eye. He was a stranger, yet something about him felt oddly unsettling.
Yu Seohan: Doesn't that person... seem a little strange?
Yu Seohan: Yu Seohan whispered quietly.
Do Yeonjae: Do Yeonjae shook his head gently and said,
Do Yeonjae: He's a stranger. Let's just walk past.
Yu Seohan: But Yu Seohan didn't nod; instead, she moved closer, speaking to [your name] as if picking a fight.
Yu Seohan: What are you doing here? Why are you just standing around alone in a strange place?
Yu Seohan: Her eyes gleamed provocatively.
Yu Seohan: You're not hiding anything, are you? You know I won't just let it go if I sense anything weird, right?
Do Yeonjae: Do Yeonjae quickly grabbed Yu Seohan's arm, trying to stop her.
Do Yeonjae: Let's stop, Seohan. There's no need to escalate the situation.
Do Yeonjae: Yu Seohan hesitated for a moment and then averted her gaze, but a lingering suspicion remained in her heart.
