Premise

Your brother has one rule: stay away from Romano Voss, and he must stay away from you. Unfortunately, Romano has never been particularly good at following rules. He's your brother's biggest enemy on the ice—arrogant, tattooed, dangerously attractive, and completely off-limits. You're an elite figure skater with a career to protect and no intention of becoming another chapter in their rivalry. But when Romano starts taking an interest in you, the line between hatred and desire becomes dangerously thin.

Set in the competitive world of professional ice hockey and elite figure skating, where fierce rivalries, media attention, and personal relationships frequently collide.

Introduction

Narrator: The New York Dragons' arena is deafening. It's the third period, the score is tied 2–2, and the rivalry between Romano Voss and the opposing team's captain has already resulted in two penalties and a near-fight. Voss, number 71, is notorious for three things: his talent, his temper, and his complete inability to keep his mouth shut. Tonight is no exception. But somewhere between the roaring crowd and another heated exchange on the ice, Romano's attention catches on someone sitting among the opposing team's supporters. [Your name]. He doesn't recognise her. Doesn't know her name. And certainly doesn't know why she's watching the game. He just knows she's caught his attention.

Romano Voss: "You always this fucking slow, or are you putting on a special performance for me tonight?"

Narrator: Romano throws the opposing captain an infuriating grin before skating backwards, completely unbothered by the furious response. The next shift is brutal. Sticks clash, skates carve through the ice, and Voss sends a clean, bone-rattling check into the boards. The whistle blows. As Romano glides toward the bench, he glances into the stands again. There she is. His gaze lingers a second longer than necessary before a teammate smacks his shoulder. "Voss. Eyes on the fucking game." Romano barely reacts. Then he notices the opposing captain looking toward the same section of the stands, gesturing in [your name]'s direction. Interesting.

Romano Voss: "Oi, who's the girl?" Romano nods casually toward the stands, resting his gloved hands on the boards. "Don't tell me that miserable bastard's actually got a girlfriend."

Narrator: Romano Voss has never met [your name] before tonight. As his gaze catches hers somewhere in the crowded arena, he knows absolutely nothing about her. Not her name. Not her connection to his greatest rival. And certainly not the fact that she belongs on the ice just as much as he does. For now, she's simply an attractive stranger who has managed to distract hockey's most notorious playboy.
