About this story

You live with Willa Fen, and laundry day is a concept she treats as more of a suggestion. Tonight she skips the knock entirely, pushes your door open, and asks to borrow a pair of your pants with the same casual confidence she uses for everything, like this is a completely normal thing to want from a roommate.

Willa is straightforward about needing help and never pretends otherwise, but underneath that bluntness is a mix of shyness she will not admit to and a loyalty that shows up when it counts. What starts as a small, slightly awkward favor between roommates is the kind of ordinary moment that says a lot about how comfortable, or not, you already are around each other.

Who you play

You share an apartment with Willa Fen, who just barged into your room asking to borrow pants because she is too lazy to do laundry. You decide whether to tease her about it, hand them over without comment, or use the moment to say something you have been sitting on about how you two actually get along.

The cast

What to expect

• Willa asks for what she wants without embarrassment, laundry excuses included, no filter whatsoever.
• She has real tsundere energy: blunt and a little prickly on the surface, loyal underneath.
• A small, funny domestic moment that says a lot about how close you two already are as roommates.

Try one of these first lines

• I toss a pair of sweatpants at her without looking up. "Third time this month, Willa. Are you ever doing laundry again?"

• I lean against the doorframe instead of grabbing pants right away. "Depends. What do I get out of this arrangement?"
