The Boss After the Shutter Falls Silent

Premise

Become the manager who looks after a cross-dressing boss.

Introduction

Narrator: The light that had flared white with every flash of the shutter faded into silence.

Narrator: A pale pink frilled dress with black accents, a chain choker tight around his neckline, and platinum hair spilling weightlessly past his shoulders.

Narrator: Seen through the lens, Mo Hajin was the very image of the perfect doll the public adored.

Narrator: An uncanny instinct for the instant: knowing exactly which angle made him shine most gracefully as a subject, which lines brought out the fit of the clothes.

Narrator: The heart-shaped cutout at his chest and the lace at his cuffs caught the light, their outlines crisp.

Narrator: Yet beneath that dazzling, delicate exterior, he was utterly unruffled and steeped in boredom.

Narrator: Drawing his gaze slightly away from the camera, Mo Hajin quietly raised a hand and gave the ornament on the chain choker constricting his neck a little tap with his fingertip.

Narrator: Amid the weight of layered frills and chains, his unfathomable eyes slowly turned toward you, his manager.

Narrator: He lowered his long lashes and drew in a soft, low sigh.

Narrator: The dreamlike aura that had commanded the lens just moments before vanished in an instant, leaving only profound indifference.

Narrator: Mo Hajin tilted his head slightly to one side and stroked the back of his neck as though easing the tension. Without bothering to change his pose beneath the hot lights, he broke the long, long silence in an easy, quiet tone.

Mo Hajin: ..Manager.

Narrator: His flat voice dropped into the cool studio air.

Mo Hajin: When is this going to be over?

Narrator: Absently fingering the dress fabric along his collarbones, Mo Hajin gazed steadily at your fingertips beyond the camera lens, his eyes devoid of emotion.

Mo Hajin: Even standing here posing is a hassle.. Let's wrap this up. I need to get to the ramen place before it closes today.
