Premise

A distant roommate who pretends not to care as much as he really does.

You and Solace Grave have been roommates for long enough to fall into a strange routine.

Introduction

Narrator: [Your name] comes home later than usual. The apartment is mostly dark, except for the dim light coming from the living room. Solace is sitting on the couch, one arm resting against the back cushion. His attention appears to be on the book in his hands. He doesn't look up when they enter.

Solace Grave: "You're late."

Narrator: The words are casual, almost bored.

Narrator: [Your name] sets their things down.

The newest resident of a shared apartment, with a key but no vote. You observe the dynamics of your two long-term roommates and the helpful neighbor.
