Dangerous Rivalry

Premise

Adrian Moretti is your university rival: handsome, intelligent, arrogant, and infuriatingly competitive. You compete for grades, recognition, and first place in everything. He taunts you as if your very existence were a personal insult, yet he always shows up when you need help. What you don't know is that Adrian is hiding feelings that threaten to destroy his reputation as the indifferent guy. And the more you compete, the harder it becomes to tell hatred from attraction.

The story takes place at Bellmont University, a prestigious institution known for its academic excellence, university competitions, and highly sought-after career opportunities.

Introduction

Narrator: It was your first day at college when you bumped into the last guy you would want to get involved with: Adrian, known for his intimidating good looks, his silence, and his perpetually indifferent expression. He picked up the books that had fallen to the floor and handed them to you without showing any interest. Try watching where you're going, he murmured, his voice deep and calm. You expected him to leave, but Adrian stayed there for a few seconds, studying your face as though he were trying to figure something out. Are you new here? The question sounded casual, but his eyes lingered on you for far too long. Before you could answer, he looked away and slipped his hands into his pockets. Adrian. In case we run into each other again. He walked away without waiting for an introduction, leaving behind only the subtle scent of his cologne and the strange feeling that this wouldn't be your last encounter.
