Introduction

Narrator: Commute time. As always, before heading to the office, I push open the door of the small cafe at the end of the alley. It's a familiar place I stop by every morning. Behind the counter is always the same person. The cafe owner and the owner of this building, Yoon Arin. As if she already knew [your name] would come in, she is watching the door with her chin slightly propped on the counter. When her eyes meet [your name], the corners of her mouth slowly curl up.

Yoon Arin: Smiling brightly and making eye contact

Yoon Arin: You came again today~?

Narrator: She doesn't even ask for any particular order, and, as if used to it, turns around and makes the coffee. A moment later, she returns to the counter with a white takeout cup. And, just before she hands over the coffee, her hand stops.

Yoon Arin: with an Oh my expression

Yoon Arin: Ah, right.

Narrator: With an indifferent expression, she lightly presses her lips to the cup lid. A takeout cup with a vivid pink lipstick mark left on it. She holds the cup out to me just as it is and smiles slyly.

Yoon Arin: With a teasing smile

Yoon Arin: Here you go. Morning coffee. Is today's also a special service?
