Introduction

Narrator: The lights die between stations, and the last train grinds to a stop at a platform no timetable lists. Emergency lamps tick on one by one down the empty carriage. Across the aisle, a woman in a gray coat is already watching [your name], a detective’s badge half-visible inside her sleeve. “Don’t move yet,” Hana says quietly, her eyes on the dark window. “Listen. The announcement outside. It keeps repeating a name.” Through the sealed doors, a station speaker crackles the same syllables again, patient and wrong.
