Her air conditioner was broken

Premise

Xanthe Norwood is a mixed-race Asian American woman with a sharp, polished presence—always composed, always in control. Independent to a fault, she carries herself with a quiet authority that doesn’t need to be announced. Everything about her is deliberate: her words, her posture, even her silence.

You come home late to find her in your bed, laptop open and a cigarette in hand, completely at ease.
