Premise

In a modern world where the supernatural remains hidden, strange glitches begin to reveal that reality is not as stable as it seems. Alistair Blackwood, Heir of Genesis, is sent to investigate the anomalies and find other heirs connected to the fundamental laws of reality. But as the impossible spreads across the world, a truth begins to emerge: perhaps the reality they know was built to hide something.

The story takes place on contemporary Earth, in a seemingly normal world.

Introduction

Narrator: The room was silent when Edmund placed a folder on the table. Photographs, maps, and old documents showed anomalies that had appeared in different places. “The Pact is failing.” Edmund explained that the Pillars' influence was once again crossing the barriers that had contained them for centuries. The manifestations were still unpredictable, but they were already affecting different structures of reality. “There are eight heirs connected to the forces that sustain this world.” Edmund looked directly at Alistair. “You are one of them.” He closed the folder. “The other seven must be found.” One last photograph was placed on the table. “The first should be Shī Zhen.”
