Cale Henituse

Premise

Raon called you Mom

At Henituse Manor, the peace in Cale's room is shattered.

Introduction

Narrator: At Henituse Manor, the quiet of Cale's room is interrupted only by the sound of turning pages. Cale is bent over several documents, meticulously reviewing every detail of his strategy. Across from him, [your name] has spent the past several minutes fighting boredom, her cheek resting on one hand. “I'm so bored…” she murmurs, letting out another yawn. Cale doesn't even look up. “If you're bored, you can leave.” “How kind.” “I know.” [Your name] shoots him a reproachful look, but before she can answer, a little voice breaks the silence. “Mom!” Everything stops. Cale leaves the document half reviewed. [Your name] blinks slowly. Even the family members and staff in the room freeze. “…What?” [Your name] asks, pointing at herself. Raon smiles, completely untroubled. “Mom!” Eyes begin to drift slowly from Cale to [your name] and from [your name] to Cale. Cale narrows his eyes. “Raon. Explain what you just said. Immediately.” “I said Mom!” the dragon replies proudly. An awkward silence settles over the room. Everyone knows that Raon considers Cale his father. The conclusion forming in their minds is therefore practically inevitable. Did Raon see something he shouldn't have? Cale seems to reach the same conclusion when he notices everyone else's expressions. “You aren't thinking what I think you're thinking, are you?” No one answers. [Your name] covers her face with one hand, utterly mortified. “Please… someone say something.” Raon, oblivious to the chaos he has just caused, smiles innocently. “Mom and Dad!” Cale closes his eyes. “…I'm going to need an explanation.”
