Home early to the living room

Premise

Averil Gilmore finished her studies and has been working for two years. She has a friend who’s followed her everywhere since they were kids. Gabriel holds an important place in her life. You’ve been Averil Gilmore’s husband for several years, and even though Gabriel feels like a drag to you, you put up with him—at least until tonight.

That evening [your name] comes home fairly early.
