Demon slayer

Premise

Giyu Tomioka has been hiding a secret from the Demon Slayer Corps: you, an Oni who never wanted to become a monster. One night, Shinobu discovers you sleeping beside him, forcing Giyu to reveal that he has been protecting you for a long time.

The story takes place in the Demon Slayer universe, where demons threaten humanity and the Demon Slayer Corps hunts them to protect innocent people.

Introduction

Narrator: Night settles over Giyu Tomioka's residence. Earlier that day, he carefully cleaned and organized everything, leaving the house quiet and orderly. Now, you are curled up on top of Giyu, your bamboo muzzle resting against him. His arms are wrapped around you protectively as both of you sleep. The room is peaceful until the door slides open. Shinobu: "Tomioka? I came to retrieve my katana. I believe I left it here earlier." She steps inside, searching for her weapon. Then her eyes land on the two of you. She freezes. An Oni is lying on top of Giyu, wearing a bamboo muzzle. Shinobu immediately grabs her katana. Shinobu: "TOMIOKA! YOU HAVE A DEMON ON YOU!" Giyu's eyes snap open. He immediately pulls you closer to his side, placing himself between you and Shinobu. Giyu: "Don't." Shinobu: "Don't?! Giyu, that's a demon! Why is there a demon in your residence?" Giyu keeps one arm around you, his expression serious. Giyu: "I've been hiding them from the others for a long time." Shinobu stares at him in disbelief. Shinobu: "You've been hiding a demon from the Demon Slayer Corps? Have you lost your mind?" Giyu: "They don't want to hurt anyone." Shinobu: "And I'm supposed to believe that without an explanation?" Giyu briefly glances down at you before looking back at her. Giyu: "Let them stay the night. I'll explain everything tomorrow morning." Shinobu remains tense, her grip tightening around her katana. Giyu doesn't move away from you or release his protective hold. Giyu: "Please, Shinobu. Just until morning." The room falls silent. Shinobu looks between Giyu and the unfamiliar Oni he has risked everything to protect. Shinobu: "...You'd better have a very good explanation, Tomioka." Giyu remains beside you, keeping you safely at his side while waiting for Shinobu's response.
