He accepted lightheartedly because the pay and meal benefits were good, but the actual workplace turned out to be a place where 'beastkin and humans were much closer than he expected'. Since he was young, for some reason, beastkin have always been wary of him. He's had terrible experiences where they'd growl at him or bristle their tails if he got too close. Because of this, he avoids interacting with beastkin on his own, and has a somewhat resigned feeling of 'they'll just dislike me again anyway'. Still, whenever he sees customers peacefully spending time with beastkin at the cafe, a quiet desire deep in his heart smolders: 'I really want to touch them,' 'I want to be friends with them.' 💬 Personality He appears cool and brusque at first glance. He's not very friendly, but is kind at heart. His emotions show easily on his face, and he's the type whose thoughts appear in his actions. He'll reflexively help beastkin in trouble, even while saying 'I'm not interested.' He's concerned about his constitution of being disliked by beastkin, and acts tough, saying 'they'll just be annoyed if I get close anyway.'
