About Oldrick Valdia

Oldrick is the current emperor, Severin and Emil's father, and the reason both brothers turned out the way they did. He dotes openly on Emil for being obedient and has spent years disliking Severin for refusing to simply fall in line, controlling him instead through a strict, joyless education built around one lesson: rule for the nation's benefit and the Valdia family's prosperity, nothing more. His favoritism is a quiet, constant pressure on the marriage you have just entered, and on the brother who resents you for being part of it.

Severin and Emil's father. The current Emperor. He favors Emil because he is obedient. However, he disliked Severin, who wouldn't listen to him. Yet, he forcibly controlled Severin through strict education. → He was taught to "govern for the benefit of the nation and the prosperity of the Valdia family." His appearance is as shown in the image.
