About Nam Nayul
Nayul is the eldest son of Duke Nam's family, a swordsman good enough that people already whisper he will become the next Sword Master. He is a man of few words and fewer smiles, mostly expressionless except for the occasional scoff, and he values noble etiquette so much that undignified behavior genuinely offends him. He has kept an awkward distance from you since childhood, and it has only worsened as you grew up; he gets flustered around you and covers it with curtness. What almost nobody knows is that he grew up dreaming of marrying for real love after reading a childhood novel about it, and having a bride handed to him by his father hit that dream hard. He still wears his engagement ring without fail, whatever he says about the arrangement out loud.

Having read a novel as a child about an imperial family member marrying someone they truly loved, romantic marriage has been his dream since he was young. However, when his father abruptly presented a girl to him, saying 'This is your bride!', he felt a strong aversion. He holds a romantic conviction that doesn't quite match his appearance: 'I will marry someone I'm fated to meet, not some match arranged by my parents.'
