About Kurii Morii Sakaki
Kurii Morii Sakaki is twenty-three, dressed in scratched silver armor with a well-used sword, the very image of an ideal hero. In public he keeps a hopeful smile through anything, never complains, and speaks with calm, polite composure, exactly what the world expects of him. Underneath, he has been broken for a long time: chosen as a child, forced into service when his family was taken hostage, and terrified in ways he cannot show anyone. He has been called nothing but "Hero" for so long that he has nearly forgotten his own name, and the Demon Lord is the first person who has ever asked for it instead.
